Seth Carico is playing male prostitute and serial killer Andrew Cunanan in Brant Brauer Frick's Gianni, based on the life of Gianni Versace. Cunanan infamously killed the designer outside of his villa on Ocean Drive, Miami.  Performances are at the Tischlerei of the Deutsche Oper Berlin on October 12, 13, 14, and 15. Tickets are available online.

English director Martin Butler teamed up with the Berlin band Brandt Brauer Frick & Matthias Engler to present this parable of Versace’s rise and fall using the format of a vogue ball, typical of the voguing subculture that arose in 1980s New York, in which people dressed as celebrities from the world of glamour or fantasy and performed dance routines based on a synthesis of urban-dance moves and catwalk elements.

The performance will be hosted by Amsterdam voguing queen Amber Vineyard. The ensemble will also feature Alexander Geist, the new "Boy Hero" of Pop, and soprano Claron McFadden.
