Barihunk Keith Miller, who used to play football for the Colorado Buffaloes (aka Buffs), is starting to become a regular on the Metropolitan Opera's roster. To read about his road from the football field to the opera stage, read
this NY Times article.
Hopefully, Miller will be cast in some barihunk roles, as he may have the hottest chest in opera.

I wonder if he can pose without lowering his head as if to shoot a deathray from his third eye. What an amazing physique!
ReplyDeleteS-T-U-N-N-I-N-G. Bring him to Lyric Opera of Chicago!!! We'll turn up the heat so he can sing shirtless.
ReplyDeleteDo we see "The King and I" in his future?
ReplyDeleteLove the Yule Brenner look in the top picture. Very attractive man. Great mouth!
ReplyDeleteKeith is yet another AVA alum. Actually, more intellectual than jock these days, perhaps, but he nevertheless can be spotted jogging around Rittenhouse Square, when he's in Philly. Keith's wife, Joyce, also AVA-trained and on the Met roster, is just as sweet and friendly as her barihunk hubby. Awesome couple, total "Mensches".
ReplyDeleteFYI Keith is divorced and very single. Don't know what happened, don't wanna know. Just know that he's up for grabs.
ReplyDeleteI heard him tonight in the met's Carmen (Zuniga). He had the most powerful voice on stage: big, resonant and with a beautiful color. Hard to know if he would be a leading singer, but he was excellent in the secondary role. Good acting and an important sound.
ReplyDeleteis he really divorced?
ReplyDeleteYes, he was divorced but is newly married and very happy.
