Duncan Rock

We love Duncan Rock and think that he has the greatest name in opera (although it does sound a little bit like an adult film star). His videos that we've posted are wonderful and you should watch them if you're new to this site.

Although he's still developing his skills, he has all of the requisite tools to be a major star in opera. Thanks to the National Opera Studio's free lunchtime series, fans can see him live in two upcoming concerts. On February 15th, he'll join soprano Aoife O'Sullivan, mezzo Maire Flavin and basses Jimmy Holliday and Ross McInroy for an afternoon of arias, duets and ensembles.

We think that Ross McInroy might be a worthy candidate for Barihunks. What do you think?

Bass Ross McInroy joins Duncan Rock for a Feb 15 concert

On March 15th, Rock returns for another program and will be joined by soprano Susana Gaspar, mezzo Justina Gringyte and tenors Tyler Clarke and Nathan Vale.
