What is the music that Sir Simon is singing that acts as a bsckground to the interview--1984? He is clearly the most charismatic baritone currenty singing; a pity that his Billy Budd was not captured on tape when he sang it with the WNO.
ReplyDeleteKeenlyside is the finest lyrical baritone of his generation. And yes, he is a barihunk.
ReplyDeleteThe background video is from Hamlet. A role he will repeat at the MET in March 2010.
