Sam Roberts-Smith Profiled With Hero Brother

Sam Roberts-Smith
We always love it when other opera singers tip us off to new Barihunk talent, which is how we learned about Sam Roberts-Smith. Remarkably, the singer was a fellow barihunk. We briefly introduced him in 2009 when he was a finalist in the Mathy singing competition.  We thought it was time to feature him again after he was profiled on Australian television with his brother Ben Roberts-Smith, who is a decorated war hero.

The 6'6" singer is currently developing his career at the famed Opera Australia in performances of The Mikado, La traviata, Tosca, La sonnambula, Manon, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Bliss, La fanciulla del West, Der Rosenkavalier, Rigoletto, Madama Butterfly. Roberts-Smith is also a recipient of the Joan Sutherland Scholarship Award.
