For over fifty years I have championed Souzay as my favorite baritone, his handsome perfection in physical form and utmost in performance practice placing him in a class by himself. This selection has given such insight as to his unbelievable talents and I wish to thank you for this opportunity for all to hear what he represented in the field of art song, Lieder, and chanson. He shall never be replaced at those heights. My thanks.
