ReplyDeleteAt 22 or 23, Canadian-born Elliot Madore definitely qualifies as a full-fledged barihunk. Thomas Hampson was extremely complimentary to Elliot during his recent Curtis Master Class. And barihunk Madore sang an exquisite, deeply felt "Pierrot's Tanzlied" for his Met audition in Philadelphia, which earned him a place in the Washington round.
ReplyDeleteI just watched the DVD of Zimmermann's Die Soldaten from last summer's Salzburg Festival for the second time, and had to check and see who the handsome fellow singing Major Mary was: Morgan Moody.
